Tuesday’s Marquee Matchups

The B.C Basketball Provincial tournament is just over a month away and with it the competition is heating up. Teams will look for their rhythm to capture the provincial title in March.

With January the late season push is now underway, and this is what B.C hoops has to offer tonight.

Tonight’s Marquee Matchups:

Guildford Park Versus #7 AAA North Delta Huskies 7:00 PM North Delta Secondary School

The Seventh ranked 3A Huskies will host Guildford Park. Both teams will enter tonight’s matchup with an identical record of 2-3 in their last five games in all competitions. 

As Guildford tries to play the role of spoiler tonight, the home Huskies will look to regain their form. 

Semiahmoo Secondary #1 AAAA Versus #3 AAA Elgin Park Secondary Semiahmoo Secondary School

Fresh off a twenty-nine-point victory against Frank Hurt last night, Semiahmoo Secondary will look to continue their dominance tonight against rivals Elgin Park. 

Both programs were Provincial runner-ups in their divisions and are looking to avoid a similar fate this year. 

The squads are red hot as both teams are 9-1 in their last ten games. This matchup will be as intense and competitive as they come.
