West Vancouver Claims North Shore Title En Route to Zone Tournament

The Highlanders are the 2023 North Shore League champions. West Vancouver hosted Handsworth and would make the most of their home-court advantage with a 79-72 victory to claim the title.

Both teams would battle hard and exchange baskets, with Handsworth taking a slim 30-29 lead. West Vancouver would find their rhythm in the second half going up double digits and winning the game.

The North Shore Playoffs have concluded, and West Vancouver and Handsworth have qualified for the Vancouver Sea to Sky Zone Tournament.

Kitsilano, Winston Churchill, and David Thompson will represent the Vancouver League in the zone tournament.

Vancouver Technical and Carson Graham will play to determine the final team in the tournament.
