This football season has been thrilling, with teams from all divisions putting up impressive performances week after week.

As we move forward into the regular season, the competition is getting more intense and the race to the playoffs is heating up. With several exciting matchups on the horizon, football fans across the province are eagerly anticipating another action-packed week of high school football. Let’s take a closer look at the latest rankings and see which teams are making a push for the top.

In the AA division, Langley Secondary managed to secure a tight 13-12 victory over Argyle, putting them in sixth place. This win brings their current season record to three wins and two losses, with their most recent game being a tough 48-0 loss to Robert Bateman. Despite this, the Thunderbirds have shown impressive performances so far this season and proved they can get it done in tightly congested matchups like this one against the Pipers.

Meanwhile, Westsyde had a tight game against South Kamloops but managed to walk away with a 20-17 victory, putting them in second place behind South Kamloops. Westsyde has only lost one game so far this season, which was to the dominant Vernon program that sits atop the Interior Division standings.

Switching over to AAA, Seaquam is currently sitting in fourth place after a 35-14 victory over the New Westminster Hyacks, which gave them the top spot in the Central Division. With a record of three wins and one loss, the Seahawks have been performing exceptionally well on both offence and defence. They will continue their impressive season against the St. Thomas More Knights on Friday, October 27th.

As we head into the final weeks of the season, the race for playoff spots is becoming more intense than ever. Teams are fighting hard to secure their place in the postseason, and every game counts.
