Walnut Grove Claims First Seed in Quad A Provincial Draw

The Senior girl’s quad A draws have arrived! Walnut Grove comes in as the first seed, followed by Burnaby Central.

Riverside, Yale, and Seaquam complete the top five.

BC’s brightest young stars will compete from Wednesday, March 1st, to Saturday, March 4th.

The BC Provincials’ all-time scoring leader Kiera Pemberton is back to help bring Walnut Grove the championship.

Pemberton averaged an incredible 48.5 points per game in February, showing no signs of slowing down.

Kanani Coon is back for her final provincial run. The University of California Santa Barbara commit was a second-team all-star in 2022, following a fifth-place finish for the Okanagan Mission Huskies.

Avery Sussex of the Riverside Rapids made the first team en route to a second-place finish in only her grade ten season. Sussex is running it back to bring the championship to Riverside.

Coverage of the historic tournament will be available on BCSportsHub.
