Titans vs. Blue Wave: Who Will Come Out on Top in the AA Division?

This Friday night, football fans in British Columbia can look forward to an exciting lineup of matches featuring some of the best high school talents in the region. Among them, the game of the week is set to take place between Westsyde Secondary and South Kamloops, two talented programs eager to climb up the rankings in the AA division.

Both teams have had a good season so far, with three wins apiece. However, Westsyde is coming off a tough loss to Vernon, which was their first defeat of the season. As such, they will be keen to prove themselves against South Kamloops.

The Blue Wave, a relatively young team with mostly grade 11 players, has been impressive all season, thanks in large part to their strong defensive core. In their most recent win against Okanagan Mission Huskies, the Blue Wave put twenty-one points on the board while only allowing seven from the opposing team. If they want to win against South Kamloops, the Blue Wave’s defence will have to be at its best, ready to stop the Titans’ explosive offence, led by quarterback Cole Rigler.

The Titans, on the other hand, have been on a roll this season, and their record and +114 point differential on the season is evidence of their excellent form. The team has shown brilliance from the entire squad, with special teams standing out in their most recent match, as Mason Lougheed scored two kick return touchdowns. The Titans will be looking to maintain their impressive form heading into this matchup as they face Westsyde, who will be fighting hard to grab the second-place position in the standings.

Bonus Game:

This weekend promises to be an enthralling one for football fans as the AA matchup takes place alongside a highly anticipated clash between AAA Central’s Seaquam and New Westminster Hyacks, currently the top team in the division. The Hyacks have been in fine form this season, and their recent nail-biter against South Delta saw them reclaim the Kushnir Boot, a trophy that symbolizes the rivalry between the two teams. However, the Seahawks are no pushovers and will be looking to make a statement by defeating the Hyacks and taking the top spot in the Central division. It’s bound to be a thrilling encounter that football enthusiasts won’t want to miss.

All in all, this weekend’s high school football games promise to be full of excitement, anticipation, and some of the best football talent in the region. Whether you’re looking to catch the AA matchup between Westsyde and South Kamloops or the AAA clash between Seaquam and New Westminster Hyacks, there’s something for everyone. So, get ready to cheer on your favourite teams and witness some of the most memorable moments of the season.
