Bulldogs Host Rebels in Battle of Burnaby

The Byrne Creek Bulldogs will host Burnaby South tonight, Wednesday, February 1st in a senior boy’s divisional matchup.

Both squads are ranked highly in their respective tiers and will look to come out on top with their seasons winding down.

 Burnaby South #2 4A

The reigning 4A champions Burnaby South have kept their form putting together five straight regular season wins.

The rebels will look forward to ending their season on a high note with their last stop before the championships on Friday, against Moscrop.

Byrne Creek #5 3A

Byrne Creek has been an unstoppable force as of late, winning the Steveston London Memorial tournament and racking up six regular season wins in January.

The Bulldogs will also suit up Friday, entering the Rick Hansen Tournament. This will be the squad’s final stop before the 3A championships.

Tonight will mark the team’s first matchup of the year, with the end of the season approaching, looking for both teams to impress with their intentions firmly set on the provincial title.
